Here is the playoff format for this year from NORWOSSA:

^{Quarter Finals: 1st  place teams in each division after regular season play will get a bye to the semi finals. On February 21, in a single game quarter final playoff, 2nd place Division 1 will host 3rd place Division 2 and 2nd place Division 2 will host 3rd place Division 1}

Semifinal and Final round playoffs will consist of a best 2 of 3 series

1st place Division 1 will host Winner (2nd D2 vs 3rd D1). February 24,26 & 28

1st place Division 2 will host Winner (2nd D1 vs 3rd D2). February 24,26 & 28

Finals: On March 2,4 & 6, the host team will be the team with the better regular season record between the two finalist teams.  If results are tied, follow the regular tie breaker format to establish the host team. Semifinal and Final round playoffs will consist of a best 2 of 3 series

All players are schuduled to donate some time to the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign on Friday evening December 16th and Saturday December 17 at either Walmart or Canadian Tire. Schedules have been e-mailed.

Muskies Win Gold at Dryden

 The Muskie Boys Hockey team played in Dryden over the weekend winning the AAA/AAAA tournament. The boys went 2-1 in the round robin and played Transcona High School from Wpg in the finals beating them 7-1. Chris Bobczynski lead the charge netting 3 goals with Braden Webb notching a goal with 2 assists and Nick Jordain adding a goal and an assist. Nick Kaun and Aaron McDowell had a goal each with Robbie Rea chipping in 3 assists and Josh Gouin adding 2 assists. Winning goalie was Ryan Ferguson.

During the round robin the Muskies played Kenora Beaver Brae losing 2-1 in their first game. Nick Kaun scored the only Muskie goal with assists from Ryan Windego and Tarran Roymn. Losing goalie was Ryan Ferguson.  The boys played Dryden in the afternoon defeating them 6-2. Hunter Leishman had 2 goals with Tyler Mosbeck scoring a goal with 2 assists. Tarran Roymn added a goal and an assist with single goals from Jeff Davis and Nick Jordain. Chris Bobczynnski chipped in with 2 assists. Winning goalie was Ryan Ferguson. In the last round robin game, the Muskies played Transcona High School from Winnipeg and defeated them 7-1. Ryan Windego and Chris Bobczynski lead the scoring with 2 goals and an assist each and Robbie Rea added a goal and an assist.  Jeff Davis and Aaron McDowell adding single goals and Hunter Leishman adding 2 assists. Winning goalie was Ryan Ferguson.
